I'm lazy. When I started out becoming a classically trained painter, I realized soon the paintings I wanted to produce would require me to work on them for a very long time. Hours turned into days. Days turned into weeks. And weeks turned into months before I could finish a single painting. It was the time I got into coding. I could tell a computer what, how and where to paint and it would do it. Much quicker than I could have done it.
These days I'm working with artificial intelligence and I teach it how to paint along with art historical milestones that revolutionized and/or significantly altered the means of artistic production. Think fo the Industrial Revolution, the Russian Avantgarde, Bauhaus, and Warhols' Factory.
Ever since I started working on the AI I realized that patience eats laziness for breakfast. Because hours turned into days. Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years until I could produce a painting.
