Hidéo SNES’s research consists of a deep, ontological exploration of the interplay between the human body and various instances of reality. In doing so, SNES combines neo-modernist thought by Ágnes Heller, Victor Grauer, and Carlos Escudé, with ideas of post-Kantian speculative realism by Ray Brassier, Graham Harman, and Quentin Meillassoux, as well as contemporary queer theoretical positions by Judith Butler, Luce Irigaray, and Rosalind Krauss. Central to this are approaches that revolve around areas of application of artificial intelligence and the establishment of photographic or painterly objects.
